Edmund L. Green Joins Africa House of Futures as Governance Advisor

Green, Founder of Board Harbor, has assumed the role of Governance Advisor. With his extensive experience in risk management and corporate governance, Mr. Green’s appointment underscores the organization’s commitment to fostering excellence in board governance across the continent.

With nearly three decades of cross-functional experience, including a recent term as managing director in KPMG’s Risk Consulting Practice, he brings invaluable insights into enterprise risk management, internal controls, and governance. His leadership in designing and executing Material Loss Review reports outside the Federal Government highlights his pioneering approach to governance.

Before joining KPMG, Mr. Green served as Vice President in the CFO Risk and Control Division of a major credit card bank, where he led the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 across various functional areas. His extensive background also includes nine years in commercial banking, adding depth to his understanding of financial systems and regulatory frameworks.
